Length 55"
Construction : Steel
Powered by a Lister HR2 2 cylinder air cooled diesel engine.
Calorifier provides hot
water from an immersion heater when on mains
hookup
The boat is fitted with radiators but the diesel boiler has not yet
been fitted.
Kitchen fittings are
basic
but functional. The fridge is a standard domestic fridge running from
inverter or mains hookup.
The bathroom is equipped with a Porta Potti toilet and shower - it is
in need of updating.
The cabin is equipped with an folding table and bed-settee
and contains a Morso squirrel solid fuel stove. When we lived
aboard this was the only source of heat we had! The boat is very well
insulated.
Thomas Ryan was our home from 1999 until 2001 when the pressure of
owning too many books drove us to bricks and mortar!
She is fitted out as a liveaboard with a large main cabin and galley,
and fixed double bedroom.

Galley looking tidy!
.
There are some pictures of the boat on her mooring in Hertford in 1999 here
showing her original livery and superb scrollwork.
